Excellence Scholarship:
Elevate Your Dreams

At LVBA, we believe in nurturing raw passion and commitment over pre-existing skills. Our Excellence Scholarship is a beacon for aspiring performers between the ages of 17 and 27, who are driven to make their mark in Musical Theatre and Performing Arts. This scholarship is not just about talent; it’s about the burning desire to become a professional performer and the potential to change your life through the power of the arts.
Scholarship Details:
The Excellence Scholarship provides a life-changing opportunity for 2 exceptional individuals each year. This scholarship offers 6 months of free training at LVBA, where you’ll receive high level instruction, mentorship, and guidance in all aspects of the performing arts. Whether it’s learning the acting, vocal training, dance skills, or exploring other facets of the industry, this scholarship will equip you with the tools to shine on stage.
Criteria:
Eligibility: This Scholarship is for all domestic students, Australian or New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents, aged 17 to 27, with a passion for professional training in Musical Theatre and Performing Arts.
Motivation and Commitment: The Scholarship is not based on pre-existing skills or talent. We don’t how good or bad you are to start with. What we’re after is commitment and determination.
We’re looking for applicants who are deeply motivated, inspired, and committed to pursuing a career as a professional performing artist. We want to feel your burning desire to excel in the industry.
Financial Need: We want to help and assist applicants from lower or disadvantaged socio-economic backgroundwho otherwise couldn’t afford this type of high level training. At LVBA, we’re committed to breaking down barriers and want to contribute to more inclusivity and diversity in the Performing Arts, beyond stereoptype cast. Our Diversity Scholarship is a beacon for talented individuals aged 17 to 27 from BIPOC backgrounds, including but not limited to First Nation people, Torres Strait Islanders, and individuals of Indian or African descent.
This scholarship isn’t just about talent; it’s about pioneering diversity and inclusivity in the arts.

Proven BIPOC Aspect: We’re looking for applicants who can demonstrate their BIPOC identity and experiences.
Motivation and Commitment: Like our Excellence Scholarship, the BIPOC is not about pre-existing skills. We don’t how good or bad you are to start with. Show us your deep motivation, inspiration, and commitment to becoming a professional performing artist. Your passion and dedication are your greatest assets.

Excellence Scholarship:
– Applicants must demonstrate coming from a lower or disadvantaged socio-economic background
BIPOC Scholarship:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate their BIPOC identity and/or background, including but not limited to First Nation people, Torres Strait Islanders, and individuals of Indian or African descent.
Scholarship Details
Successful recipients will have access to:
– The full Diploma of Musical Theatre training and qualification program
– First 6 Months of training for FREE
– Access to LVBA venue, studios and equipment for the full year
