Application Process

Admission upon Audition ONLY
For years, we did our best to avoid an audition process for our future students. However, due to our own success and the overwhelming number of aspiring performers wishing to join LVBA, we had to introduce an audition process this year for our 2025 intakes. But rest assured that our commitment to inclusivity and open access remains unwavering.
The first round of auditions will be held on Saturday, the 5th of October 2024 in our studios in Lutwyche. Applicants must apply via our website.

All you need to do is click on the ‘Enrol now’ button and follow the steps.

Online Evaluation

To undertake and successfully complete all of the units of competency within an individual qualification, students will need to possess reading, writing, and numeracy skills at the applicable unit level. As part of the enrolment process students will be provided with an electronic link by ATOD that will enable them to undertake an ‘online’ evaluation to determine their current level of skills in the three areas. Please note some units of competency do not require all three skills concurrently. The results of the evaluation will determine if a student requires any learning support whilst undertaking each unit of competency.

By the end of this course

Students are able to:

  • Perform in all 3 disciplines according to current industry standards and requirements
  • Build and perform complex and challenging pieces, songs, and characters
  • Follow directions and show work ethic and professionalism
  • Handle lead roles as well as ensembles and chorus lines

To ensure further their chances of success in the industry, we HIGHLY advise students to continue their training for the second year in our Advanced Program.
